BMW M3- Diamond Cut Face Repair – Rebuild on Edge
This BMW M3 Diamond Cut Wheel had to be spun on a CNC Lathe (Alloy Wheels- Diamond Cut) to achieve the immaculately polished finish on the front of the Alloy’s face. If the Alloy Wheels face is not completely flat and has a big chunk of aluminium missing from it, then welding must be done before the Diamond Cutting Process. The reason for this is the Diamond Cutting machine will not be able to Cut the wheel right as the missing piece will leave a void in the fully polished finished face. So in other words, the Diamond Cutting machine will cut the face surface of the wheel, without a problem, but the missing piece of aluminium will result in that area of the wheel having NO Diamond cut etched on to it, as there was no material there to cut in to. This is the reason why Welding of the Alloys must be carried out before Diamond Cutting the Alloy Wheel. The Alloys Aluminium Welding is carried out by our trained and well experienced certified staff.
