This BMW X6 Hamann came to us with very bad kerbing damage on the whole rim of all 4 wheels. The customer wanted them back to the way they were – which was all black. We advised him that we could do exactly what he wanted or we could Polish the outer edges of the wheels which would give them a customised look and would also help to hide any new damages he may cause by kerbing them again in the future. The reason for this is the scrapes would not show up as much on the metal polished finish compared to the black gloss which was already looking in a really bad state. Prices for Adding Polished Edges/lips on the rim of the wheel start from £60 per wheel.

When refurbishing Diamond Cut Alloys it’s possible to repair and refurbish or polish just the edge of the alloys rim if the kerbing damage is to a minimal level, and if the spoke of the wheel do not have any damage on them. In this case we were able to Polish the outer edge of the deep dish rims to give the wheel a customised look.

The customer agreed we had done a fantastic job and was so happy with our work that he got us to refurbish 2 more set of wheels from his other cars.
